How to check, step by step

The same three inputs work on every registrar's page.

  1. Find the registrar

It is named in the IPO's prospectus and on each IPO page here. KFin and MUFG Intime handle most mainboard issues; Bigshare, Skyline, Cameo and Maashitla are common for SME issues.

  2. Open the allotment page

Use the links below. Select the IPO from the dropdown; it appears there only after the basis of allotment is published.

  3. Search by PAN, application number or DP ID

PAN is the easiest. The application number is on your broker's confirmation; the DP/client ID is your 16-digit demat number.

  4. Read the result

"Allotted" shows the number of shares. "Not allotted" means your blocked funds are released by the refund date. Shares reach your demat by the credit date.

Registrar directory

Public allotment-status pages of registrars commonly appointed for Indian IPOs. Each opens in a new tab.

If you were not allotted. The blocked amount is released to your bank account by the refund date. If funds stay blocked, contact your bank first (for UPI mandates) and then the registrar with your application number.
IPOKhazana links to registrar websites for convenience and has no access to application data. Never share your PAN or OTP with anyone claiming to check allotment on your behalf.

Common questions

When is IPO allotment announced?

One working day after the issue closes (T+1). Registrars usually publish the basis of allotment in the evening, and status pages go live the same night or the next morning.

Why does the registrar page not show my IPO?

The IPO appears in the dropdown only after the basis of allotment is published. If the date has passed and it is still missing, check the other registrar sites: registrars sometimes change between issues.

My money is still blocked after the refund date. What now?

For UPI applications, first check the mandate in your UPI app and contact your bank; for ASBA, contact the bank that blocked the amount. If unresolved, write to the registrar with your application number, and then to the lead manager named in the prospectus.

Does applying from several accounts help?

Applications from different PANs (family members, each with their own demat) each get a separate lottery entry. Multiple applications from the same PAN are rejected.

What is the basis of allotment?

The registrar's document explaining how shares were distributed in each category. In an oversubscribed retail category, every successful applicant gets one lot and winners are drawn by computerised lottery.
